The Council’s packed, interactive meeting, held during the DNC Winter Meeting, was kicked off by keynote speaker Congressperson Laura Friedman and ended with rousing remarks by DNC Chair Ken Martin.

Chair Deatrick campaigned in Tennessee — launching canvasses, phone banks and knocking doors — during GOTV week for climate champion Aftyn Behn in her run for the 7th Congressional District.
