National Infrastructure Bank: Virtual Town Hall

DNC Council on the Environment and Climate Crisis Chair Michelle Deatrick joins a national Zoom Town Hall on the proposed $5 trillion National Infrastructure Bank (NIB) and its role in addressing the nation's infrastructure and climate crises. Chair Deatrick will speak to the infrastructure and climate crisis in Michigan and nationally, and to the NIB's potential to cut transportation emissions — which account for roughly 75% of the sector's CO2 output — through major investment in rail, urban mass transit, and high-speed passenger rail.
