Young Democrats of America National Convention: Youth Dir. Presendieu Re-elected, Chair Deatrick Honored
At the Young Democrats of America’s National Convention in Philadelphia, the DNC Climate Council’s Youth Director Paul Presendieu was unanimously re-elected as Chair of the YDA Environmental Caucus and presided over a packed Caucus meeting.
Chair Deatrick was named a Lifetime Honorary YDA Member and was also made an Honorary Lifetime Chair of the YDA Environmental Caucus. Deatrick also spoke at the YDA Hispanic and Latinx Caucus, where she upheld climate and environmental justice as civil rights, and focused on the importance of movement building and continued activism.
