Chair Deatrick Leads Workshop in California

At the 37th annual Bioneers Convention in Berkeley, California, Chair Deatrick led an interactive workshop on mobilizing youth and emerging leaders for climate action, exploring pathways to environmental activism and strategies for organizing toward a livable future.

Beyond her own session, Chair Deatrick immersed herself in the rich programming the convention had to offer, attending sessions on Indigenous leadership on water protection and musical performances celebrating biodiversity. She also took the opportunity to connect with longtime climate champion and friend Berkeley City Councilmember Igor Tregub, in whose district the convention was held, as well as Third Act leader Catherine Daligga.
