Chair in Tennessee to Get Out the Vote

Chair Deatrick campaigned in Tennessee — launching canvasses, phone banks and knocking doors — during GOTV week for climate champion Aftyn Behn in her run for the 7th Congressional District. The results were impressive: a 13 point swing in this deep red district. State Representative Behn is a strong advocate for affordable, accessible health care and elimination of the state’s grocery tax, and we know she will continue doing great things going forward. The volunteerism in Tennessee, and the organizing by the Tennessee Democratic Party, was electric, with well-organizing efforts in every single County.
